He is perfectly harm- less to anyone as big as Peter and Mrs. Peter, but he doesn't look harmless. Of all the Snake folk -he looks the ugliest and most dangerous. Yet only small folk like Old Mr. Toad and perhaps some small and helpless babies have anything to fear from Bluf- fer.
