Bad Legs, Bad Breasts, Sores and Ulcers-

All description of Sores are remediable by the proper and diligent use of this inestimable preparati n To attempt to cure bad legs by | plastering the edges of the wound together is @ folly; for should the | skin unite, a boggy diseased condition remains underneath to break out | with tenfold fury in a few uays. The only rationa! and successful treat ment, as indicated by nature, is to reduce the inflamimatior in and about | the wound, and to svotle the neighbouring paris by rubbing in plenty of | the Ointwent as salt is foreed into meat. This wili cause the malignant | humours tu be drained off from the bard, swelicu and diseol ured purts round about the wound, sere or ulcer, and when these humvuars are re- | moved the Wounds themselves will soon beal; warm bred and water | poultices applied over the affected parts, after the Ointwent has been | well rubbed in, will soothe and soften the same, and greatly assist the | eure. There is a descrip ion of ulcer, sure, and swelling which need not | be named bere, attendant upon the follies of youth, and for which this | Ointment is urgently recommended as a sovereigu remedy. In curing | such poisonous sores ii never fails to restore the system to a healthy |

state if the Pills be taken according to the pfinted instructions.

Diptheria, Uleerated Sore Throat, andScarletand | other Fevers.

Any of the above diseases may be cured by well rubbing the Ointment | three times a day into the chest, throat and neck of the patient; it will soon penetrate, and give immediate relief, Medicine taken by the mouth

Piles, Fistulas, Strictures. |

The above class of complaints is surely removed by nightly fermenting | the parts with warm water, and then by effectually rubbing in the Oint- ment. Persens suffering from these direful complaiots should ‘lose not a | moment in arresting their progress. It should be understood that it is | not sufficient merely to smear the Qintwent on the affected parts, but | it must be well ruvbed in tor s me considerable time two or three times a day, that it may be taken into the system, whence it will remove any | hidden sore or wound as effectually as though palpable to the eye | Tuere again bread and water poultices, after the rubbing in of the O:nt- went, will do great service. Tis is the only sure treatment for females, | cases of cancer in the stomach, or where there may be a general bearing | duwa.

Imprudencies of Youth;---Sores and Uicers.

This compound will be found a great promoter of health, when taken in the spring, to expel the foul humors which fester in the blood at that sea- gon of the year. By the timely expulsion of them many rankling disorders are nipped in the bud. Multitudes can, by the aid of this remedy, spare themselves froma the endurance of foul eruptions and ulcerous sores, through which the system will strive to rid itself of corruptions, if not assisted to do this through the natural channels of the body by an alterative medicine. Cleanse cut the vitiated biood whenever you find its impurities bursting through the skin in pimples, eruptions, or sores; cleanse it when you find it is obstracted and slug- gish in the veins; cleanse it whenever it is foul, and your feelings will tell you when. Even where no particular disorder is felt, mere enjoy better health, and live longer, for cleansing the blood. Keep the blood healthy, and all is well; but with this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disordered or overthrown,

Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the renuta- tion of accomplishing these ends. But the world has been egregiously deceived by preparations of it, partly because the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for it, but more because many prep- arations, pretending to be concentrated extracts of it, contain but little of the virtue of Sarsaparilla, or —— else. 5 ; | uring late years the public have been misled ' by large bottles, pretending to give a quart of Ex- tract of Sarsaparilla for one dollar. Most of those have been frauds upon the sick, for they not only contain little, if any, Sarsaparilla, but often ne curative properties whatever. Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which flood the market, until the name itself is justly despised, and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaparilla, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the name from the load of obloquy which rests »pon it. And we think we have ground for believing it has vir- tues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended to eure. In order to secure their complete eradication from the system, the remedy should be judiciously taken according to directions on the bottle.
