—SUDDEN DEATH OI‘ MRS. A. It. MCMURDO-The sudden death on Thursday night of Mrs. A. n. Mc- Murdo of Kelvin, came as a shock to her relatives and friends. Mrs. Mc- Murdo had not been feeling well but hcr condition was not considered ser- ious, on Thursday evening she took a weak spell and passed sway shortly after. The deceased lady was an ac- tive member of the United Church and was very highly esteemed in the communit in which she lived. There are left. to mourn besides her sol-rowing husband, two sons, Percy. in Kelvin and Erskine at home. and two daughters, Mrs. tDr.) L. Call- beck of Crapeud, and Mrs. Profltt of Margate; also one brothenMr. John Burrows of Wilmot, and three sis-, ters, Mrs. B. "I was fortunate in the pilot, Mr. Jumcswade, who is operating the plane for the owner Mr. Willard F. Dryden of Moncton. I had perfect confidence in Mr. Wade the minute I looked him over. We made a quick trip, and on the way over saw the Car Ferry stationary in the ice about three miles from Borden. From our very exalted viewpoint she looked like a toy ship, and I had difficulty deciding whether it was the car ferry or not."

McLure, M.L.A.. colonel Mac- Klnnon left for London on Jan. 7 in order to attend the fur sales of the Hudson's Bay Company which are held on Jan. 21.
