A Pugasant Eveyixnc.—The many friends of Mr Frank McArdle gathered at the residence of Mr. McKenna, King St., a few evenings ago toray “ good-bye” to Mr. McArdle who is about to move to the neighbouring Republic. The evening was spent very pleasantly. Songs were eung by the favorite trio, Messrs Arthur Trainor, Fred Kennedy and Wm Hughes. A cornet solo by Mr. Peter Perry was one of the best pieces of the evening. After partaking uof the good things provided Josep: McCarron, on tehalf of the ladies, inaneat epeech brought the proceedings to aclose. “Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again.”
