CAN IT BE TRUE?

Sir,—It is currently reported around Charlottetown to-day that at a meeting of certain ministers of Charlottetown with the Women’s Christian Temperance Union yesterday afternoon, it was decided not to take any action in regard to the liquor de- partment of the Charlottetown Club. If this rumor is true, it is a most gerious aifair, for the temperance people have heretofore looked to tlt€ wemen to help then in the cause. But now what are we to do if they lend their aid and sympathy
