AmueEReT, Nov. 12, 1865. A son of Captain John Rodericks, of Five Is lands, N.S. bas beeu cured of a most distressing sore leg by our medicine. We saw him yesterday it his father’s house; be had just returned after Walking fifteen to twenty miles through the woods,

He fell upon the frozen habs in January, 1862, ind injured the bene nearthe knee. In vboat a week ufter his leg began to swell and pain him very severely. In ubonut ten days they bad it laneed ; it rau freely, bat continued to discharuwe wnd pain him, and he became so verv mach reduecd. that he wate unable to sit up in bed, until the last of September, 182. At thin time be had scarcely any flesh leit on him. From this time till the fall of 1864, he could get about upon crutches, the ley discharging al) this time. Last December it bevan to swell and pain him again, his sufferings daring December, January and February, are bevond deseription. He got so low that bis life was des- paired of ; in fact, the family were called in to see him die. During the latter partof February oar wonderful medicine entered this sorruwing fumily, and ut once lifted the gloom, when sickness and surrow gave place to cheerfuluess The young man is now able to yo hantiug, asabove.
