After an illness of two weeks with pneumonia. Mrs, Richards. widow of the late Hon. John Richards. passed away atherhome in Charlottetown about noon yesterday.

Mrs. Richards. whose maiden immc ivns Miss Isabel Broad. was born in St. Elcnnors on the 31st of March. 1855, and was therefore in her 82nd your.

For many years she had lived at Bldoford. Her husband, who came of n, highly honored and respected family prominently identified with the public and agricultural lifeof this province, was atone time Com- missioner (or as the office has since been named) Minister of Agricul- ture and was subsequently loader nf the Liberal Oppcs=tlon in thc Provincial Legislature.
