The Chicago Black Hawks pulled to within two points of the jeague leading Montreal Canadiens as they blanked the ‘Flying Frenchmen’ 3-0 in the Chicago Stadium, Sunday night. This was the third shut-out of the season for young Dennis Dejordy be- tween the pipes for the Chicago pucksters

Kenny Wharram, the diminutive winger from Ferris, On- tario, scored the winning goal for the Hawks at the 16 minute mark of the opening frame when he beat Montreal's Lorne ‘Gump’ Worsley with a fifteen footer. Doug Mohns, just recently back in the Hawks line-up, picked up an assist on Wharram’s goal and the former members of the Boston Bruins dented the twines in the Montreal cage twice before the final siren went to skate off the ice with a three point night

The ‘Golden Hawk’ of the Billy Reay coached outfit hasn't acored in his last five outings with the Hawks, but neither Hull nor his coach are worried about the situation Bobby maintains that he is playing well and that as ‘ong as he keeps plugging away he will break out of his slump and start blinking the red lights around the National Hockey League, again.
