Mr. Jardine introduced May- or W. A. Currie who extended a welcome on behalf of the council and the people of Sum- merside. He told the delegates from the mainland he hoped they would be able to take time out from their deliberations to travel about and see some of the Island. He suggested they also go to the Isiand capital to view some of the historical: sites.
