This is the oldest church of any communion in New York City and the oldest Protestant church in the United States. It is 305 years old.

In his (orlnal resignation, which is in the hands of the Cortsistory or the Collegiate Reformed Protestant Dutch Church oi’ the City oi’ New York, 1h". MscLeod explains he is resigning now so that the church officers may have ample time to obtain a younger minister to take his place.
