The sick committee reported vis- iting two sick ladies. The new sick committee Mrs. Adams and Mrs. J C. McLure. There was no report l from the school committee. new‘ committee Mrs. B. McLean and Mrs. Louis McDonald. The Red Cross convehar gave the following report of finished wot-k on hand: l quilt, 2 girls dresses. l pr. knickers, l. pr. long socks, 3 pr. short socks.

'l'l1e committee in charge of cleaning the school reported that. the work had been done and the teachers were very well pleased with the condition of the school. Several letters were read from boys oversee: thanking the Institute for Christmas parcels. There was also a letter from Mrs. C_ M. Hopkins with a cash donation of $2.00 en- closed.

A letter regarding radio pro- gramme "Of Things to Come" was read and discussed. The president appointed Mrs. J. C. MeLure, Mrs. A. C. McKay and Mrs. Wilfred Watterwcrth to listen to this pro- gramme for one month and bripiz m a report,

Each member is asked to bring some extra eats to our next sewing meeting so that a box may be packed and sent to a sick member. Pans are to be mace at this meet- ing for a chop suey supper to be held at our next meeting.

As there was no further business the meeting adlourned.

An entertaining programme of contests was carried out, after which a dainty lunch was served by the hostess.
