Mass., but just now the tide seems to be setting towards the Memramcook iustitution, on whose rolls are the names of some eighteen or nineteen students from the Arostook County alone. There seems to be a promise of more trouble with the Boers of the Transvaal, who do not seem willing to abide by the treaty they made with England two years ago. It would be a great pity if anything should transpire to bring about another war in South Africa, but should one be forced apon England it will hardly be aliowed to terminate as did the last.
