Dorprecut, March 5.—Follewing up yesterday’s success General Brabant again engaged the Boers today, with tie advan tage of holding the position captured. Yescerday there was emart fighting. This morning the British, losing some five or six men, captured the Boer fort, thus vastly improving their position, The Boers fought tenacious! , contest ng every inch of ground. But ultimately they retreated suddenly, carrying oft their guns ard waggons, A mounted force pursaed them, but the result is not yet known. The British casualties, during the two days, were thirty wouaded and twelve killed. Tbe Boer losses are unknown. Throughout the arduous fighting and severe fatigue, the Colonials bshayed splendidly.
