In the Boston divorce court, last week, Sarah C. Livingstone testified thet she was married to Boyd Livingstone at Charlotte- town, P. E. L., in 1886, because her father forced her to, but had never lived with her husband, and wanted the marriage an- nulled. The request was granted.
The foundation of a monument to Bis- marck was laid ou Saturday at Rudelsberg, Central Germany, in the presence of an immense throng. Among those present were students and delegates from most uf the German universities, together with many persons Of national prominence. Sunday was the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Garibaidi. In Rome popular societies marched to the Capitol, where they deposited a wreath on the liberator’s mopumeot. As the line was moving to the Capitol, four revolutionary societies quitted the procession on a Crispi society appearing. On the whole, the demonstra- tion was orderly.
