O'Donnell, the murderer of Carey, was | vn n from Newgate yesterday morning and b ught before Magistrate Powers at Bow Street Court, when his examination was re- sumed. It will bear the name of “The English Illustrated Magazine.” It will be pub ished by MacMillan & Company, appearing simultaneously in London and New York. The firet number contains an article by Prof. Huxley on *‘UVysters and the Oyster Question,” and asketch by Wm. Black, the popular novelist, on ‘The Supernatural Ex- periences of Patsy Cong.” The illustrations are to be of a high order. The magazine is to sell at one dollar and a half a year, or fifteen cents a number.

Bradlangh has addressed a letter to Sir Stafford Northcote, in which he declares that he will again demand a seat in the Commons on the re-assembling of Par- liament, and charges Sir Stafford North- cote with causing all the mischief that has grown out of the continued violation of his rights.
