The Student Council meeting Sunday Feb. 16, 1975 was att— ended by more students than ’ usual because many of the ele- ction hopefuls came to get a glimpse of what Council meet- ings are like. y

A suggestion was made by Gordon Campbell which would‘ make non—attendence of.execu— tive meetings an impeachable offense. The discussion of the matter was indecisive and led into a motion of whether or not a Councillor could give someone else a proxy vote. The motion was defeated_because many.Councillors felt that this practice could lead to

VOTER ELIGIBILITY

1. Any student who is

an active member of the Student Union is eligiable to vote. ‘ THIS MEANS if you paid your $ 40 S.U. fee, you are eligiable to Vote.

2. You may vote for those persons running in‘ your constituency.

THIS MEANS you may vote for all executive positions of the S.U. ( like President Comptroller etc.) and also you may vote fOr those ‘ conteSting the seats for Senate. _

Concerning the by-election,

all eligiable voters », may vote for those run—

ning in the Vice— Pres- idential by-election.
