Bad Legs, Bad Breasts, Sores and Ulcers-

All deseription of Sores are remediable by the proper and diligent use of this inestimable preparati.n. To attempt to cure bad legs by plastering the edges of the wound together is a folly; for should tle skin unite, a boggy diseased condition remains underneath to break out with tenfold fary in a few days. The only rational and successful treat- | ment, as indicated by nature, is to reduce the inflamatior in and about | the wound, and to soothe the neighbouring parts by rubbing in plenty of | the Ointment as salt is forced into meat. This will cause the malignant | humweurs to be drained off from the hard, swollen and discoloured parts round about the wound, sore or ulcer, and when these hamours are re- | moved the wounds themselves will soon heal; warm bread and water} poultices applied over the affected parts, after the Ointment bas been well rubbed in, will soothe and soften the same, and greatly assist the eure. There is a descrip ion of ulcer, sore, and swelling which need not be named here, attendant upon the follies of youth, and for which this Ointment is urgently recommended asa sovereign remedy. In curing | such poisonous sores it never fails to restore the system to a healthy | state if the Pills be taken according to the printed instructions. A

Diptheria, Uleerated Sore Throat, and Scarlet and other Fevers. Any of the above diseases may be cured by well rubbing the Ointment | | three times a day into the chest, throat and neck of the patient; it will | soon penetrate, and give immediate relief. Medicine taken by the mouth | must operate upon the whole system ere its influence cau be felt in any | | focal part, whereas the Ointment-wili do its work at once. Whoever | tries the unguent in the above manner for the diseases named, or any | similar disorders affecting the chest and throat, will find themselves re- |lieved as by a charm. All sufferers froth these complaints should en- | yelope the throat at bed time in a large bread and water poultice after | the Ointment has been well rubbed in; and if the soles of the feet are | likewise rubbed with the Ointment every night, it will greatly assist the leure of the throat and chest. To allay the fevér and lessen inflamma- | ion, eight or ten Pills should be taken night and morning The Ointment | will produce perspiration, the graad essential in all cases of fevers, sore | throats, cr where there might be an oppression of the chest either from asthma or other causes.

Piles, Fistulas, Strictures. | The above class of complaints is surely removed by nightly fermenting | the parts with warm water, and then by effectually rubbing in the Oint- meut. Persens suffering from these direful complaints should lose not a mowent in arresting their progress. It should be understood that it is | not sufficient merely to smear the Ointment on the affected parts, but it must be well rubbed in for scme considerabie time two or three times | a day, that it may be taken into the system, whence it will remove any | hidden sure or wound as effectually as though palpable to the eye. Tuere again bread and water pouliices, after the rubbing in of the Qint- went, will do great service. This is the only sure treatment for females, cases of cancer in the stomach, or where there way be a general bearing | duwn.

Imprudencies of Youth;---Sores and Ulcers.

Blotches, as also swellings, ean with certainty be radically cured if the Ointwont be used freely, and the Pills be taken night and morning as recommended in the priated instructions. When treated in any other way they only dry up in one place to break out in another; whereas this Ointment will rewove the bumour irom the system, and leave the patient a vigorous and healthy being. It will require time with the use of the Pills to ensure a lasting eure.

Dropsical Swellings, Paralysis and Stiff Joints.

Alibough the above complaints differ widely in their origin and ma- ture, yet they all require local treatweat. Many ot the worst cases of such diseases will yield, in a cumpuratively short space of time, when this Ointment is diligently rubbed into the parts aifected, even after every otber meaus havd failed. In all sericus maladies the Pills should be taken according to the priated directions accompanying each box.

Gents, -—-I hereby certify that I have been troubled for several years with a difficulty ef the heart and lungs, and have applied to several physicians for help, and have tried alinost every remedy of the numerous ones which have been recommended, without receiving any assistance, but had been growing weaker and werker, until, hearing of Wistar’s Balsam of Wild Cherry about a year since, [ commenced using it with immediate re- fief. It has not only restored my lungs to a sound state, but Lam entirely relieved of the difficulty or ciseaxe of the heart. I have no hesitation in saying that it is the best lung medicine before the public, and I most cheer- fully ane conscientiously recommend it to all persons suffering with pulmwenary complaints.

Keep the blood healthy, and all is well; this pabulum of life disordered, there can be no lasting health. Sooner or later something must go wrong, and the great machinery of life is disor dered or overthrown.

Sarsaparilla has, and deserves much, the reputa- tion of accomplishing these ends. But the world has been egregiously deceived by preparations af it, partly because the drug alone has not all the virtue that is claimed for it, but more because many prep- arations, pretending to be concentrated extracts of it, contain but little of the virtue of Saxsaparilla, or any thing else. :

uring late years the public have been misled by large bottles, pretending to give a quart of Ex- tract of Sarseparilla for one dollar. Most of these have been frauds upor: the sick, fer they not only contain little, if any, Sarsaparilla, but often no curative properties whatever. Hence, bitter and painful disappointment has followed the use of the various extracts of Sarsaparilla which fiood the market, until tht name itself is justly despised, and has become synonymous with imposition and cheat. Still we call this compound Sarsaperilla, and intend to supply such a remedy as shall rescue the name from the load of obloquy which rests upon it. And we think we have ground for believing it has vir- tues which are irresistible by the ordinary run of the diseases it is intended to cure. In order to secure their complete eradication from the system, the remedy should be judiciously taken eccording to directions on the bottle.
