When UPEI 1988 graduate Jacqueline Duerden decided to proceed into graduate studies, she received offers from eight Canadian universities, including Queens, Western, Simon Fraser, Calgary and Carleton. She chose the Montreal Neurological In- stitute, which is affiliated with McGill, where she is doing re- search on the neuropsychology of olfaction.
