Over 3,000 Students Eligible For Youth Allowance Benefits

This ahnouncement was. made yesterday by J. E. Green, reg- fonal director for PET. youth allowance payments for students suspended during the summer months

In addition. approximately 6795 initial reeistration: farms will he Mailed < to children who reached age 14 in June, July and August, and who will be regis- tered for youth allowances” in September for the first time. “All registration ‘forms. will have to be completed bv the parents, who will have. to ensure that the Schoo! Attendance Certifi- tate is signed by a school offic- jal in every case. Cheques will be mailed in time to reach pa- rents on Sept. 30 if all forms are properly completed and return- ed to the- Regional Office

Funeral Held At Margate

KENSINGTON — Mrs. Wilbur Dennis, 70, of Margate, died at the Prince County day night following an illness of several months.

The former Ruth Mayhew, she was married to Wilbur Dennis, | who predeceased her five years ago.

She was the eldest daughter ot | the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Mayhew, Margate, and is sur- vived by two sons, Charles and Reginald,* both of Margate; three brothers and two sisters: Harold, New London; George and Heath, Margate; Hazel (Mrs. Heath Campbell), Sum- merside;: Elsie Mrs. . Chester Howard!, Margate. /

A brother, Frank, of Charlot- tetown predeceased her in May of this year.
