There will be an important Biology Club meeting on March 4, Friday in the Biology Club at 12:30. The money from the Texas Mickey tickets will be collected. Please bring in your money! The draw will be held on March 11, instead of on March 5 as stated on the tickets. Proceeds will go to the Foster child which the Biology Club supports. The winner of the draw may accept the Texas Mickey or the cash value ($100.00) or, if extremely generous, may donate it back to the Biology Club in the form of alcohol (for our next party) or $$ (for our Foster child). Yeah, right!

The member who raises the most money will receive forty dollars, and at this point it looks like that will be Jody Mokler. Way to go,

GRADUATING BIOLOGY SENIORS:

This year grad photographs of the biology seniors will be collected and mounted in a large frame. So, order an extra wallet-size picture of yourself. The pictures can be given to Denise Vanderaa, Scott MacDonald or Chris Ripley, or may be handed in to the Biology Office secretary on fourth floor Duffy. The biology seniors of 1994 will be remembered, so hand in your mug shot!!

Society Help Wanted

We are looking for a sound technician and a box office manager for our production of Mr. Pickwick. No experience is needed for either job, although experience is always welcome. We can give you no money, but we do promise lots of worthwhile experience and a great cast party. The play runs from March 10 to 13. Call for submissions

Women artists are invited to participate in an exhibit entitled “MORE THAN SKIN DEEP,” a thematic show dealing with women’s body images, sponsored by the UPEIl Women's Centre. The deadline for submissions is March 1, 1994, and the exhibit will be officially opened at the Women’s Centre on March I 1. Pieces should be ready for hanging and dropped off at the Centre between 8:30-4:30, Monday-Friday. The Queen's County Local of the P.E.I. Association for Community Living is searching for volunteers. P.E.!. Association for Community Living is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to people with a mental handicap within the community, Volunteers help provide a meaningful recreation experience for these people. “Volunteering has been very rewarding for me. | have worked with a variety of people and it has been a bright spot in my life. | recommend volunteering to anyone *

Senior 4-H Members

1994 is full of exciting opportunities. This year, 4-H members are given a chance to apply for one $390 and three $1000 scholarships. This financial assistance will be awarded to the 4-H’ers who meet the criteria. Ata time when education is quickly becoming essential and the expenses for education are increasing, it is great to have offered this assistance.

Leadership Awards

|. Students eligible for a Leadership Award must be full-time students who have satisfied the entrance requirements to the University or who have passed at least eight three- semester hour courses in the previous year of study.

2. Awards will be given to students who have made, are making, or have demonstrated the potential for making a significant leadership contribution to University life.

3. An award may be given to a student participating in University activities but only if the student demonstrates significant leadership ability though his/her participation.

4. An award may be received once by an individual.

5. Nominations for awards may be made by students, faculty or staff of the University.

6. Recipients for the awards will be chosen by a committee approved by the President of the University.

If no one's in and you don't want to wait, leave a message in the door slot and/ or go to the Student Union office to ask any questions you may have.

Attention all Environmentalists

If you are concerned about the state of our campus, come to the second floor of the Barn on Wednesday, March 2. There will be an information meeting at 12:30, and at 7:00 we will be painting garbage cans as the start of UPEI’s blue box program. Anyone who can paint, please come!
