I feel it's going to be a great success. I feel~ students on this campus are interested in what university is all about. At least the majority are, I hope. symposium is a ‘ way to bring up ideas for a better university.

insult to injury, each Tuesday evening at Marian Hall has provided a unique and enjoyable kind of education for those fortunate enough to attend. Speakers to date have included Frank Strain on Unemployment in Canada, Karen Arsenault and the . dual nature of man, selected poems by John Moore * \ and Richard Papenhausen, and short stories by Elizabeth Campbell, to name a few examples.

This week, due to the,emphasis on Symposium'fl79 that requires maximum student participation, the OPEN READINGS will enjoy a brief vacation. However, the following Tuesday, the action will resume (Novemm l3) and continue to the end of the month. Like the Symposium, the open readings success has depended on you, the student.
