IN pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly of this Island, made and passed in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of ller Majesty Queen Victoria, intituled “ An Act to consolidate and amend the seve- ral Laws imposing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony, and for the encouragement of Education,” and also of an Act made and passed in the thirtieth year of the same reign, intituled “An Act to amend the Act relating to Land Assessment,” I do hereby publicly notify the owners or occupiers of Land in this Island, for which the annual Assessment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two pence, lawful money of this Island, for every hundred acres of wilderness or unim- proved Lands contained in the several Townships and the Islands be- longing thereto; and the sum of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, for every hundred acres of cultivated or improved Lands in the said several Townships and Islands as aforesaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two pence, of like money, per hundred acres for wil- derness or unimproved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown; and at the rate of six shillings and eight pence, of like money, per hundred acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown as aforesaid; and at the rate of two shillings and six pence, of like money, for each and every Lot in Charlottetown formerly occupied as tho Barrack Square, in proportion to area, on the same footing and to the same ex- tent as Town Lots in Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of ikc money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Common Lot and Water Lot granted in the Town and Common of Char- lottetown; and the sum of six shillings, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the ltoyalty of Char- lottetown; and the sum of four shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the Royalty; and the sum of two shillings and six pence, of like money, for each and every cul- tivated or improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the said Town; and the sum of two shillings, of like money, for each and evcrycuitivatcd or improved Common Lot as aforesaid; and the sum of two shillings and eight pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unim- proved Town Lot and Water Lot in the Town of Georgetown; and the sum of one shilling and four pence, of like money, for each and every cultivated and improved Town Lot and Water Lot in the last mentioned Town; and the sum of three shillings and four pence, of like money, for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Georgetown; and the sum of tWo shillings, of like money, for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the last men- tioned Royalty; and the sum of two penco, of like money, for each and every acre of cultivated or improved Lnd in the Royalty of George- town, called lieservcd Lands; and the sum of three pence, of like money, for each and every acre of such last mentioned Lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved Lands; and so in proportion for a. less quantity,—-is payable, that unless the Assessment or Assessments for the current year imposed by the Said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, be paid into my hands or the hands of any of my deputies (as requirid by low) on or before the Tenth day of DoCcmber next, I shall proceed against all such Lands as shall then be in arrear for non-

IN pursuance of a Decretal Order, made by Ills Honor the Master of the Pulls in this cause, hearing date the 20th day ofAugUst last, there will be sold by I’UBL C AUCTION. on the Premises, at Dunk River, in Prince County, in this Island, on \Vi‘lDNl‘lb‘DAY, the sixth day of November next, at the hour of]: o’clock, noon, all that Valuable Freehold Form, or tract of Land situate on Township No. ‘26. containing 132-3 acres, a little more or less, with the Messuuge, Mills, Buildings and appurtenances to the some belonging. of which George M. “Night, the father of the above named infants, lately died seized and possessed.

The Farm and Premises above mentioned are situated on the Main Road, between Somerset (formerly South-west settlement; and Freetown, liedeque; having a frontage of 123 chains on the said Road, and being 10 chains in breadth, a little more or less.

The land is of superior quality, about sixty acres of which are. cleared and in a good state for cultivation. the residue being covered With a line growth of hard and soft wood. The principal Dwelling llouse, a 1,; storey Building. is 36 by ‘25 feet, with a kitchen in the rear :25 by 18 feet: contiguous to which are Wood House, Carriage House, Stables, Workshop and Burn, the latter '45 by 30 feet. The Mills. comprising a very superior Grist Mill (with 3 pairs runners), Shingle, Saw and Carding Mills, are propelled by a powerful stream; and their situation for business purposes is considered to be unequalled in the Island. The prOperty will be offered in three separate lots or sections. One lot comprising the Mills, with a Cottage 20 by 18 feet, and a \Vorkshop 18 by 15 feet, for the use of at Miller, with 2.") acres of Land attached. The second Lot will comprise the Farm proper, consisting of about 75 acres. with the Dwelling Home and other Buildings above described; and the remaining 25 acres, being the northern section of the tract, and all cleared, \Hii form the third Lot.

Should intending purchasers prefer it, the whole property will he: sold in one Let.

TERMS—Tell per cent. of the purchase money to be paid down attire time of sale, and the residue of one-third of the purchase money, 223;} per cent, upon the execution of the Deeds. The remaining two-thirds to be secured by Mortgage on the premises in manner more ditiuitely to be expressed in the conditions of Sale.
