SUMMERSIDE — A brand new Chevy II, which was stolen from the wire-enclosed parking lot of MacNeill Motors in Sum- merside on Friday evening, was found abandoned on the ‘Trans Canada Highway near the red bridge in Wilmot on Saturday morning.

RCMP in Summerside receiv. ed a call at about 10.30 Saturday morning from a member of the staff at MacNeill Motors Ltd., who said he recognized the car while driving into Summerside a short while before.

The town police and RCMP are conducting an investigation but as yet they have not made an arrest in the case. |
