MR. DANIEL MaePllAlL

A gloom was cast over Bonshaw on trhe ait/ernoon of June Ilthh, when it was learned that ilir. Daniel Mac- Phail had assed. away at Stanchel.

While at nding Communion ser- vice tihere having left home that morning in his usual health, the news of his sudden passing came as a severe mock to hiawife.

His txwo sons being present in the church when he cahniy passed away while engaged in prayer the parting time on earth had come, and he wont to be forever with his Master whom he served since his young manhood. l-Ie was for many years an elder in the Church of Scotland. DeSsible, where his presence will be keen missed.

Bu it 1s in the twine where ha will be most sorel missed. But what greater conso atlon can coma than the realization bhat his work was well dons and that in that work ha always found. joy and that now that crown of life reserved for those who have been faithful unto the end is his.

The late Mr. MacPhail was widely lmown. At one time ho was agent for the Rawlelgh Company and later carried on a grocery business and
