To obviate these three ditlicultics pursue the follow- ing method: In the place where your posts are to stand, make holes with u crow-bar, work backward to widen the hole, making it ten or fifteen inches deep 'l'hcn sharpen the post and drive with an iron mqu, another foot which leaves the post very firm in the ground It is more convenient to use a team and wag- gon, from which one can stain! and drive them, driving from post to post.
