Dr. McCulloch is nearly 80 years of age, but does not look more than 70.

A Daring Thief.
Montreal, Feb. 14.
A penitentiary bird named Mackey met Miss Welsh, of Sherbrooke, on the street to- day, and persuaded her that they had for- merily been acquainted. The lady told the rascal where she was stopping, and he soon after snatched her pocket book, ran off, got acaband drove to Miss Welsh’s boarding house, where he showed the purse, and said the Sherbrooke Jady had sent him for something she forgot in her room. The rascal then went up stairs, stole $350, and left rejoicing over his good luck.
