As a cheerful convereationalist and entertainer be will b> greatly missed, and many can recal! with pleasure the pleasant evenings spent around his fireside. While he had hosts of triends wherever be was known it is cot known tbat he had an ememy, and by his death this place loses one of its most up- right residents. Kiely, Fitehburg, Mass, Mre. Henry Dunn acd Mrs. D. Jamiesoo, Sturgeon, Mrs. W H Bell, Murray Harborand John Roach Kiely, White Sands. He was laid to rest amid tears in the Romau Catholic Ceme- tary at Sturgeor. To his widow and family we extend our sympathy io thie thoir sad bereavement.

It is with feelings of deep regret that we are called upon to record the death of Elizabeth Jane Bull,the beloved wife of William J Nicolle, which took place at White Sands, on Saturday, the 18th inst., at the comparatively young age of 30 years. The deceasei was attacked by measles in January las ; scarcely had she recovered, when she was overtaken by La Grippe which terminated fataly. The deceased’s amiable and womanly qualities, kird dis- position and true piety prepared her in this life fora happier one beyond the tomb. A loving wife, dutiful daughter, xind sister, and a loving and tender motber and a true and steadfast friend, her death has cast a gloom ever the community. The esteem in which she was held, is evidenced by}the large concourse of people that follow ed her remainsto the Methodist Church at

Murray Harbor South, where the funeral services was conducted by the Rev J S Alien,

ascisied by the Rev E Gillis, thence to the cemetery where all that was mortal was laid inthegrave.
