Hello to all U.P.E.I. students, especially to those who are coming here for the first time. The SUN staff wishes each and every freshman the best as he or she struggles to adjust to university life. That adjustment usually isn't difficult. It is just that it sometimes takes time. The thing to remember is that you should never let anything get you down. No matter where one has difficulties there is always somewhere to turn- Amid academic problems a person can still enjoy extra-curricular activities and a busy social life, or if one \ gives such things a lower priority, there remains the realm of books. Whether your thing is playing games, partying, or studying, you can hopefully find it at U.P.E.I., and no matter what you are doing here, it is crucial to find enjoyment.

I hope that many of you will find that enjoyment partly by working for the U.P.E.I.

SUN. The student paper offers you many fields of endeavor from lay—out to writing to photography. All you need do, at first, is climb to the newspaper office high in Main Building, and express your interest in joining us. The SUN will have as large a staff as possible, and

‘ regardless of your year or faculty, you can be a part of it.

Again, let me welcome all freshmen to U.P.E.I., and to those who do join our newspaper , team, I thank you in advance. To everyone else,
