A Bye-law Respecting ‘the fale of Most.

Be it enacted by the City Council of the City of Charlottetown as follows: —

1. Every person publicly selling meat (hesh, salted or corned) by retail within this tity inany store, shop, house, warehouse or other building or in the public market build igor in or from any meat waggon, cart, car- fage, sleigh or other vehicle upon the public streets or highways of the said City by retail or in less quantities than by the carcass, si.a!l sain from the Mayor thereof a License as a meat Vendor, and the Mayor is hereby author ted to issue such License upon receiving the License fee hereinafter mentioned,

2. The License fee shall be Twenty-tive dollars per annum.

The music at both services was of an especially bright character, and the render ing wagexcellent throughout. Mr, Blaoch- ard, the capabie and painstaking leader of the choir, was director.

At High Mass it was radiau: with natural flowers and tapers; and at the evening service there were supplemented by three large crosees iilumiaated by electricity, and additional tapers, The effect when a'l were lighted was grand indved. Mr. George Hennessey showed great tacte in arranging tbe decoratioas, and is to be conyratniated.

The attendance at both services was large. The seating accommod-tion of the couch was taxed tv its utmost capacity and many were obiiged co etand.
