Great Blue Heron - l feeding at Clark's Pond in Indian River through July (TC). '

Little Blue Heron - l at Indian River Bridge on June 23 (TC).

Gadwall - 1 pair at Clark's Pond in Indian River through July and August (TC).

Osprey - the pair nesting at Clark's in Indian River hatched 3 young which were learning to fly by August 13 (TC).

Merlin - l at Cape Tryon on Sept. 4 (GGH, SA, SS). Ruffed Grouse - an adult and young at Indian River through July (TC). Knot - l at Brudenell on Sept. 5 (MEM).

Mournin Dove — about 2 dozen (including young) at the Clark feeder in Indian River by Aug. 13 (TC).

Common Nighthawk - l at U.P.E.I. on June 17 (WHO . . Chimney Swift — 5 at U.P.E.I. on June 18 (GGH).

Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 1 pair summering at Clark's in Indian River (TC), 1 at York on Aug. 14 (EC).

Belted Kingfisher - 1 pair summering at Clark's Pond in Indian River (TC) Common Flicker - 6 summering at Clark's in Indian River (TC).

Downy Woodpecker — a pair raised 4 or 5 young at Clarkfls in Indian River (TC).

Black-backedjthree-toed Woodpecker - l at Donagh on Sept. 9 (JDM).

Bobolink - 1 pair at Clark's in Indian River through the summer (TC).

Eastern Kingbird - 1 pair summering at Clark's in Indian River (TC).

Robin - several nests, with 3 to 4 doz. individuals present by mid-August at
