The loss was the first this season. for Dalhousie and was the. ﬁrst ever win for the Lady Panthers over a Dal squad.

“Our press in both games, both half and full court, was the key for our success,” said Panther coach Dave MacNeill.

The Belles scored two from the floor and one from the foul line to go up by one with 29 seconds left. The Belles missed a crucial foul shot to give UPEI a chance to win on a ﬁeld goal.

Jones led all shooters with 18 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Sonia Edwards was next with 14 points and was top rebounder with 10 as well for the Lady Panthers.

key leadership on offense and defense for the Lady Panthers in both weekend games. Chandler was top scorer Friday with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while on Saturday she hooped 13 points and pulled down six rebounds.
