OTTAWA (CPi—Gen. A. G. L. ‘McNaughton, one of Canada’s ‘Most experienced negotiators in ‘Canada-US. relations, will retire ‘this summer as chairman of the Canadian section of the perma- ment joint board on defence, it Was announced today.

Gen. McNaughton will be suc- €eeded by L. Dana Wilgress, vet- @ran Canadian diplomat who re- eently retired from government Service.
