City of Charlottetown, as follows :

1, The rate of assessment for the year eom- mencing the Ist January 1882, ana ending 3ist December, A, D. 1882, is hereby speci. fied and fixed at the rate of one and one- tenth of acent on every dollar of the value of real estate within the City of Charlotte- town, according to the valuation of such real estate ag assessed by the assessors of the said city in their valuation roll of such real esiate made and duly returned by them on the twenty-second day of April, A. D, 1882.

2. The rate of assessment for the year com- mencing the Ist day of January, A. D. 1882, and ending 3ist Decem ier, A. D. 1882, is hereby specified and fixed at the rate of one- tenth of ® cent on every dollar of the amount of the net yearly income salaries or receipts of all persons, partnerships and corporations as assessed by the assessors of the said city in their valuation rolls of such Income Tax made and duly returned by them on the twenty-second day of April, A. NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS,

EALED TENDERS, addressed to the «> undersigned, and endorsed + Tender for Trent Navigation,’ will be received at this office until the arrival of the eastern and western mails on WEDNESDAY, the fitth day of July next, for the construction of two Lift Locks, Bridge Piers and other works at Fenelon Falls; aiso, the construction of a Lock at Buckhorn Rapids, and for the con- struction of three Locks, a Dam and Bridge Piers at Burleigh Fails. The works at each of these places will be let separately. Maps of the respective together with plans and specifications of wor ke, c*n be seen at this office on and after WED-. NESDAY, the twenty-first day of June next, where printed forms of Tender can be ob- tained. A like class of information relative to the works at Fenelon falls will be far- nished at that place, and for those at Bock- born and Burleigh intormation may be ob- tained at the resident Engineer's office, Peterborough.
