SUMMERSIDE —- The RCAF Eagles downed the Prince Coun- ty Combines at the airport rink yesterday afternoon, the final score 5-1. The Eagles scored two goals in what seemed a fairly even first period. They had a much greater margin in the sec- ond frame though notching only one goal. Thane Mann rose to spectacular heights to keep the RCAF crew to a lone counter.

The Eagles 5 c ored two to Combines one in the final frame, again an even, hard-fought ses- sion. The boys on both team used their bodies freely but the game was fairly clean. only ten penalties being handed out by referees Don Whelan and J oe Coyle, each team getting five.

Ken MacDonald took a pass at goal-mouth from Bob Sleigh to open the scoring after seven minutes of play. Seven minutes later Doug Tucker came in from left wing and sharing MacDon- ald's pass, found a narrow port between Mann and the left goal post. Al Andrews was right in on Walsh and hit the post for Com- bines best chance of the period.
