'Mr. President, you and your petty politics have finally reached your limit. Last night at approximately 10:00 o'clock p.m., when Doug Smith decided that the thirty people waiting outside the door should be let into the Pig 'n Whistle, he made several phone calls, then informed the person in charge that these people were to be let in knowing full well
that the safe limit would _be passed. ’

I was hired as Chief of Campus Police last March, (1974), and since I have' not been fired or replaced, I feel that I have been doing a sufficent job. Therefore, I feel that my Judgement must be considered worthwhile on matters conc- erning the Barn and Pig 'n Whistles, since I have been involved in these matters for the past two years. It was my understanding that at any event involvingv Campus Police, I, as chief, was in charge. However, last night proved me wrong ;...again!!!!!! This episode was the FINAL time I will be stepped on. For the past year, I have been made to look like the fool, a crook, the most_evil person on campus, and the most incomp-

On behalf of the Executive I must point out to you ’ that the responsibility for conducting Student Union affairs rests with us, and any instructions which you received regarding limits of attendance on affairs in the Barn came from us; through‘the’Comptroller, to yourself. As you yourself say, this was placed at; 400. On the night of April 3 when a person, outside the Executive,.informed you that this limit should be iexceeded, the Comptroller, who has the Barn as his responsibility, reiterated our ruling and told you that the limit was 400. 1 When you were again informed by a student, outside the Executive, that this was

You tell me to be clear three times: quite obviously you are a master of "defini- tion" the ability "to delin- eate parameters" tersely. I like that in a man. It \shows promise. ,7
I like\also your use of the adverbs "only" and I "vaguely" together. Another- instance of terse writing.’
