Canadian Arniy Casualty List

OTTAWA. Sept. 25-(0?) —Ne- tiomtl defence headquarters today issued the 164th fllllly casualty list of the war, reporting the death of three men overseas.

Included in the list were the names of three men reported mLss- lng after the Dieppe operation, and the name of one mun previously reported missing in error,

One man wits listed as wounded -o, Dieppe casualty—two as dan- gerously ill and two as seriouslfl/ ill.

Today's list raised an unof icial total of army men reported dead end missing since the war beilm to 4,700 This figure includes the 1.905 Canadian troops at Hong Kong, 509 of whom have subsequ- ently been llsted as prisoners of war. It also includes 325 men list- ed as prisoners after the Dieppe battle.
