Contract let for Filling Station

A contract has been awarded to Morrison and Harris for the con- struction of a new filling station by the Mccoll-Frontenac Oil Co. Ltd. for Mr. James Harris, agent. Summerslde at I cost of approxim- ately s25,000. The present building occupied by Mr. Harris will be dis osed of and the new structure wil be erected on the same site. Work is to commence immediately.

The building will be modern in every way and will be supplied with the latest in equipment.

Hot water will be provided for washing cars in winter and there will be I hoist instead of I pit in the grease room. The office will have large plate glass windows for display purposes and there will also be a reserve stock room. I furnace room and two rest rooms at the side of the building.

This filling station is located at the intersection of Water and Sec- ond Streets and the building will be constructed of cement blocks with stucco finish.

formed the ceremony. Mixed sum- mer flowers formed the floral set- ting for the ceremony and Mrs. Leo Gallant played the Wedding March.

The bride, entering the church to the strains of the Wedding March. looked charming in a balerina.- length dress of navy blue nylon net over taffeta. The bodice was of nylon lace with I double Peter Pan collar. cap sleeves and rhinestone centered buttons to the waistline and white accessories and I cors- age of white mums. She carried a white prayer book. Her only orna- ment was rhinestone earrings matching the buttons on her dress.

Matron of honuur' was the bride's sister, Erma. who looked lovely in a ballerina-length dress of poodle blue rayon taffeta with a small round shawl collar. brief cap sleeves with pointed cuffs. Her ac- cessories were navy blue and her corsage was of pink mums.

Following the ceremony I recep- tion was held at the home of the bride's parents, the bride's table being decorated with pink and white streamers and centered with a three-tier wedding cake topped by a miniature bride and groom. The cake was made by Mrs. Rus-
