Winter Activ ty' Program Begins

The Department of Physi- cal Education & Athletics an- nounced that the first half of the winter program of activi- ties will begin on Monday, November 3rd. The instruc- tional classes have been poor— ly attended so far this year but it is felt this was: due to the organizational difficulties faced by students settling in- to a two campus class sche- dule and a lack of publicity for the program. By now mos-t students are organized so this second session of ac- tivities may be better attend- ed.

The principle objective of the classes will be to intro- duce students to the funda mentals of recreational ac- tivities which may prove use-

ful while at university or af- ter graduation. Students may drop in to the classes without previous registration and re- ceive instructiOn.
