Our road here is in a horrid state, the bridge at the factory being nearly down. Toast part of the road known as Monag- han’s Hollow is almost impassible. The concert held at the Emyvale Hall, on Munday night, Feb. 26b, was very successjul. The programme con-isted of music, both vocal and jostrumental, dia- logue, etc. Miss Katie Monaghan, of Keliy’s Cross, played the several accom- painmente, alike sat'sfactory to the vocal-

The recitations of C T Flood and Mirs Xegina Flood were deservediv applauded. The singing of the Misses Monaghan was good and enthusia-tically encored, to which they suitably responded. Jas. H Movaghan’s solo, accompanied by the orgao, was excellent, his powerrul voice having full scope. A_ par- ticularly bright and pleasing presentation of music was rendered by the violisiste, Messrs Dogberty and Monaghan. The soloof A. McDonald was heartily encored and responded to.
