HaNLAN, on the 4th inst., received a letter from Fleming. Sydney, N. 8. W., enclosing a letter from Trickett. addressed to that gen- tlemsn, in which Trickett expresses his wil- lingness to meet Hanlan for a championship race in England on the Thames, for £200 a side, provided he (Trickett) can dispose of his business ancl go to England. It will not pay tlanlan to goto England for any such errand, unless [rickett challenges him for the cup. He has to win again the 36,000 purse, atten to his new hotel, and possibly have a try for the other $5,090.
