BORDEN — At last night‘s regular meeting of the Borden Town Council. finance chair- man. Jack McIsaac, reported that as of the end of November the financial picture of th town shows a surplus of $18.- 052.62. This places the town in as healthy a situation as it has been in for 3 Ion 'me.

The council gave final ap- proval on three major points. one of them being the unani- mous decision by the council for the town to become a mem- ber in the Canadian Federation of Mayors and Municipalities.
