The program began with Mrs. Daley at the plane and the singing of "Happy birthday to you." Other musical numbers were contribut- ed by Mr. and Mrs. John Daley, Mrs, Harry Dickie and Mrs. Clif- ford Ramsay. A beautifully decor- ated birthday cake was presented by Mrs. David Ramsay. The gifts were presented by Mr. Arthur Profitt and Miss Kathleen Henderson. Mr. Woodside replied rnpremlng thanks for the gift; and pleasure in the presence of so many friends. Mrs. Woodside also expressed her thanks and spoke of her satis- faction ‘m being able to open her home to her friends and. to hcr children's friends. In the course of her remarks, she humorously recalled the beautiful June day 2') years ago, which, to her listen- ers, was the day Mary Profitt and Harold Woodside became husband and wife. in a lovely wedding wit- nessed by many friends at Ken- sington Presbyterian Church. "For They are Jolly Good Fellows" was sung and the groom was bounced as a fitting conclusion to this part of the program. Piano, violin and vocal numbers by Mrs. Keith Boswell, Misses Maylea and Ruthie Boswell and Mr. David Boswell contributed sub- stantially to the evening's enjoy- ment. Mrs. Boswell also accom- panied for g sing song.

A delicious lunch was served by Mrs. Edwin Bearrsto, Mrs. Frank Marks. Mrs. Edwin Brown, Misses Boswell, Misses Phyllis and Rena Woodside and others.

Dancing was then indulged in by the young and older folk, with music furnished by David Boswell Johnny Inglis and Bill Durant.

Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. George Small of Summer- fide East, who were married on the same day as Mr. and Mrs. Woodside. -Bur.
