What's on at the Panther Lounge

On Thursday, November 12 the Panther Lounge will be present- ing The Scared Weird Little Guys, a duo from Melbourne, Australia, who perform their own brand of witty musical com- edy.

Having performed together for over five years in various groups, The Phones, John Fleming and Rusty Berther formed Scared Weird Little Guys to perform their own original songs as well as some scared weird parodies. Songs range from their tongue- in-cheek ode to conservation (Trash the Planet) to Prince’s song Kiss done in any musical style at all, to a medley of the world’s greatest love songs done as they have never been done before.

They have worked seasons at all major Melbourne comedy venues and with the Amazing Jonathan, Marty Putz (Coming second semester) and Glen Foster. They have appeared on every national television show in Australia and appear weekly ona high-rating Melbourne radio program where they compose songs on the spot - any topic, any time.

In the last five years the guys have performed an incredible | 100 shows together including club dates at Sneaky D’s, the Comedy Nestin Montreal, as well as television spots on Chaps Comedy Club and Breakfast TV. After being on tour in 1991, the Scared Weird Little Guys are returning to Canada during October ani November for amore extensive tour. We hope everyone takes this opportunity to see this entertaining group.

This week’s movies are Batman Returns and Ernest Scare Stupid. Joe Pesci fans will have to be here for our Movie Pub o November 6, as we’ ll be showing My Cousin Vinny - our seco movie will be Gladiators, aboxing movie with one of the bes endings you’ llever see.
