John Reid Weds Louise Carr

St. Ann's Church. Hope River. was the scene of an autumn wed- ding on Nov. 13 at 8 o'clock when Mary Lucy Louise, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Carr. became the bride of John Brendan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reid. both of Stanley Bridge.

The Rev. Earl Dalton performed the ceremony and celebrated the Nuptial Mass. Francis Reid. cou- sin of the.groom. aerv.e,d Mass. Rev. Clarence Pitre of Rustlco was present in the sanctuary.

Given in marriage by her ia- ther. the bride chose a gown of ice blue brocaded nylon with overskirts of net and matching shoulder-length veil with a head- dress of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of American Beauty T0525.

Miss Aline Reid, sister of the groom. acted as bridesmaid and was attired in coral lace and net over Nylon and carried a bouquet of Better Time roses. The groom was attended by his cousin, Mr. Joseph Reid. The ushers were James Flemming and George Carr. brother of the bride,
