Millionaires in England.

Millionaires continue to ferm an

exclusive body, although they are slightly on the increase. In the ten

years between 1862 and 1872 there died in Great Britain ten persons who left more than a million pounds; fif'y-three leit over & million; and a hundred and sixty-one morethao a quarter of a miilion. The decade (accord ng to an elaborate return just published by the Spectator) shows an advance iu the number ot those who have “gone over to the majority” leaving more than a million each ; but the list is confined to the following round dozea:—
