In the case of those candidates who had | access to examination papers at the July Teachers’ Examinstion, Ontario, the Minis- ter of Edueation recommends that their certificates, forty-one in number, and ob- tained papers from Wm. Patterson, Printer, who purchased them for $55 from Frank Metcalf, a pressman, who worked in Munter, Rose & Co’s establishment, where papers were printed, be withdrawn. He is of opinion that candidates in question did not realize the gravity of their offence—a reason why he deals so leniently with them.
