To a great many astute ‘farmers the small farm with its livestock fed on the fann and fed well is the ideal. There need be nothing wasted; the animals can be kept up '0 the highest level of usefulness; the two or three dairy cows. well fed and well looked after, are more Profitable than the half dozen or more "boarders", half-fed and pro- ducing as little as they can. 1n this province. for the average fax-m. or, fifty acres or even less would provide the means for a very com- fortable livelihood. and if cared for "Wfflllli to the best modern meth- ods would leave a surplus to fliq credit of the owner.
