Your First Time, Eh?

Have you experienced that nerve wrecking, palm sweating "first-time interview",for a job that you really wanted? But, messed it up because you bombed a few answers, spoke to quietly, twisted that graduation ring back to your elbow...? If only that interview could be done over again??! Bong..wrong answer.

That dreadful thing called "the Job Interview" can be done with grace and sauve, minus the clamy palms, chipped nails, and aggravated friends from listening to you go on about not wanting to go.

Also, the other "thing" that people hate doing is putting togethere their lives accomplishments, committee work, volunteer work, etc. into a neat little package that should float softly to the floor, rather than as if a tonne brick was attached to it.

Yes, the Resume.

Well, if anyone out there - frosh to a senior, in any faculty needs help preparing for or some extra pointers for a job interview or a resume - we can help you. Within the next few weeks we will be setting up resume writing, interview prep. sessions with various employers and then Mock Interviews to try out your stuff.

Interested - please contact Diane or Elaine at the ‘Employment Center on Campus (for all you keeners - that is located in the R/L at Student Services behind the Pit! or Betty or Jo-Anna at the Student

Union.

Leave your name, year of study, faculty, and area of work interested in.

The difference could be going broke or seeing those $$$S$ signs every payday.
