There is now on the Island a corporal six men. equipped with three radio cars and six motor cycles working full time on traffic pa- trol duties. A reduction in traffic deaths from 29 in 1951 and 25 in 1952 down to 12 in 1954 has re- sulted. he said. from road ps- trols and vehicle inspection. No deaths have occurred in highway accidents so far this year.
