Five bodies have already been washed ashore here. The schoouer Reality, Capt. Miller, is ashore and a total wreck on Alberton bar. Coasting schooners fortunately all in. port.

The storm at St. Peter’s on Wedaesday night wes very eevere. The damage to St. Peter’s Bay bridge,previously reported, is very great. A large sum of money will be required to repair it. At the harbor only two vessels are afloat. One or tw9 fisbing cratt from Alberton were wrtcked and the lives of the crews were in great danger. The lobster factory of Wui. R-meay at Sea Cow Head, was carried up the marsh by the tide and wind and totally demolish- ed. Two lobster boats at Collet’s factory, South Shore, were driven ashore and brok eb up.

At North\Carleton, McDonaid’s Point, some 600 lobster traps that had been piled up on the bank near the factory of Thcmas Trainor were washed away by the tide and the greater number of them totally destroyed. The bait house, vontaining & quantity Of bait, was washed away.
